Description
Dating back to the early 1960's this is a great unused example of this Classy Looking Commodore 6 Superlative Transistor Radio. It is marked on the box Model TW-60. Radio is still in original plastic sleeve with silicone insert. Includes original plastic wrapped FUJI Hi-Sonic 9v Battery and Earphones. Very clean as you'd expect. Box shows minor wear and some spots on the underside of the base. I have not removed the radio from the original plastic holder so it is untested but none the less new old stock. Since I have left it as new old stock and have not tested it I can not guarantee its ability to work but on the other hand I don't see why it wouldn't seeing it has never been used. A great early piece of Transistor Radio History. I can recall when I was a young teenager having a Zenith Royal 85 Transistor Radio and I tuned in most evenings either to WABC in NYC or CKGM in Montreal and once in a while WRKO in Boston. As you might be able to tell I am from New England and in particular Vermont. "Those were the Days" as Mary Hopkin sang back then!!!!!
